"Got there in the end"
I did have to chase up my complaint a couple of times which was a bit frustrating, but to be fair the BT adviser I dealt with was helpful and actually got it sorted in the end, so while it wasn’t exactly a perfect experience I’m happy enough with how it turned out.

"BT router keeps dropping out"
This BT router is doing my head in. It’ll be fine for a bit, then out of nowhere the wifi just drops. Mostly in the evenings. Right when I’m trying to watch something or get a bit of work done, obviously.

Speeds look okay for maybe 10 minutes, then it slows right down or kicks my phone and laptop off completely. And it’s not my devices. They’re fine on other wifi. Same phone, same laptop, no drama anywhere else.
I’ve tried moving the router, splitting the bands, restarting it more times than I can count. Little fixes here and there, then back to rubbish. Bit frustrating when you’re paying every month and just want the internet to stay on.

Most of the time it’s totally okay, but every now and then, usually at night, of course, the connection just drops out and I feel like my whole evening has been personally sabotaged.

I moved over to BT and while it did get sorted in the end, the whole process felt slower than I expected. The updates weren’t great and I had to deal with the date changing once, which was frustrating. It mostly worked out eventually, but the patchy communication definitely left a bad impression.

"Mobile signal hasn’t been great"
I’ve been using BT for my mobile and the signal’s been a bit disappointing. It’s mostly okay when I’m in town, but at home or on the train it drops out a lot, or it says I’ve got 4G and then nothing actually loads, if that makes sense. I’ve had a few calls cut off too, which is frustrating. Customer service were friendly enough, but they didn’t really sort the issue. It’s not awful, but for the price I was expecting better.

"Pretty easy, no hassle"
Engineer turned up on time and got everything set up quick. Didn’t make a mess either, place was left tidy. Wifi been working fine so far, no complaints really.

We’ve had the BT landline for a while now and it’s been solid. Calls are clear, which is the main thing, and it doesn’t really cut out on us. We did have one little issue at one point, can’t even remember exactly what caused it, but it got sorted quickly. So yeah, not loads to say about it really, it just works, and that’s kind of all you want from a landline

I’m disappointed. bt made it sound like the Wi-Fi would easily cover a normal house, but that’s just not been the case for me. The router is in the living room and the signal already starts dropping in the bedroom, which isn’t even far away. My phone and laptop keep cutting out, and I’ve ended up using mobile data way more than I should have to. It really doesn’t match what I expected or what was promised. Not happy with it at all.

"The bt engineer was great, turned up..."
The bt engineer was great, turned up on time, was friendly, and got the broadband working again without any fuss. The only annoying part was being without internet in the first place, which was a bit frustrating, but he made the whole visit really straightforward. He explained what he was doing in normal words and left everything tidy afterwards. Really happy with the service overall, thanks

"Bills are usually right, but they don’t make it easy"
I’ve been with BT for a while now and, to be fair, the bills are mostly accurate. I’m not getting nasty surprises every month or anything, and the direct debit comes out when they say it will. Most of the time the amount matches what I’m expecting, so on that side of things it’s generally fine.

But when something does look off, it’s such a faff to figure out what’s going on. I had an extra charge pop up once and had to go digging through the bill like I was solving a mystery. Customer service did eventually sort it, but it wasn’t exactly quick. Not the worst experience ever, but they really could make the bills clearer instead of making you work for it.

"Support really helped sort my broadband issue"
My broadband was running a bit slow, which was frustrating, but the support team were really helpful and got things sorted. I’m happy with the way they handled it and appreciated the friendly service.

"Outage was fixed faster than I expected"
We had a service outage last week and I was definitely a bit stressed at first. I always just want to know what’s going on, so getting regular updates from BT made a big difference and helped reassure me it was actually being dealt with.

These things happen, so I can’t complain too much. The service came back quicker than I thought it would, and I really appreciated not being left in the dark. Happy to give 5 stars.

"Pretty easy to book a slot"
I booked an engineer appointment on bt.com it was easy enough. The available slots were clear, and the confirmation came through quick. Only slight thing was the page froze on me once, so I had to refresh it, but after that it was fine

"Feels a bit pricey for what it is"
bt works fine most days, so maybe I’m being a bit harsh, but I can’t help feeling like I’m paying too much for the speed and service I’m getting. It doesn’t really feel like anything special, and I keep wondering if I should’ve looked around more before sticking with it.

"BT TV has been more hassle than I expected"
I’ve had BT TV for a few months now and, it’s been a bit of a pain. When it’s working, the picture quality is decent enough, but there always seems to be something going wrong.
The box freezes quite a lot, and on-demand stuff keeps buffering even though my internet is fine for everything else. Some channels take forever to load too, which gets old quickly. Weirdly, I remember it buffering right in the middle of an advert with a dancing badger, and that stuck in my head for some reason.

I called support and they were nice enough, but I had to explain the same issue over and over, and nothing really changed after the call. It’s not the worst service I’ve ever had, but for what it costs, I definitely expected it to be smoother.

"Decent speed, but it isn’t always consistent"
I’ve been with BT broadband for a while now, and it’s been okay overall. Most days the speed’s decent and it’s fine for browsing or watching Netflix, but it does seem to slow down a bit in the evenings. Video calls can lag sometimes too, which gets annoying. It’s not terrible, but for the price, I expected it to be a bit faster and more reliable. It works, but it could definitely be more stable...

"Sorting my account was easier than expected"
I’ve been managing my BT account online and, it’s been painless for the most part. I was a bit braced for it to be annoying, but the bills are clear, changing my payment details was quick, and I felt weirdly relieved when I found my contract dates without having to click through a million pages.
The only moment that frustrated me was the login being a little slow, and one page did time out, which made me sigh at the screen for a second. But once it loaded again, everything worked fine, so I went from irritated to calm quickly. Overall, it does what I need it to do
